also the amount of 'website not working' incidents should be a lot lower now.

If anyone has any suggestions of what they would like to see on this new website of ours please do leave a message in the comments.

As every new website launches new issues appear, we highly appreciate you reporting any you encounter.

Exciting news!

We have now updated our servers and all is running well. You will notice now that we have a hub and a new server. None of your items, pokemon, money or claims were destroyed. You will have everything you had previously.

Server 1 is our old server and Server 2 is the new server we implemented in case the first server is full. You should have all of your pokemon on there as well.

We here at Pixelmon Unlinked thank you for your patience in this time of new things.

Regards, The Pixelmon Unlinked Staff

New Server Incoming!

Hello everyone!

Due to the drastic increase in players on our Pixelmon server, we'll be launching a brand new one to go with the one we have! Meaning all of you who want to be on the server but can't because it's full, you'll now be able to join the new one!

Now, the is one major thing that needs to be addressed - Pixelmon 3.5.1, to my current knowledge, does NOT work! Because of this, everyone will have to use the normal Minecraft launcher provided by Mojang.

So, with that addressed, there may be some of you who do not know how to install Forge or know how modding works with the normal Minecraft launcher. Because of this, we'll be providing a tutorial down below of how to install Forge and Pixelmon to your normal Minecraft launcher! We'll also be providing a tutorial on our Forums with images for visual guides to help those who may be lost in the text tutorial or who may need a visual guide to understand exactly where something needs to be placed and such.

Now, for the tutorial I mentioned;

1. the first thing you'll need is Minecraft Forge. Going to the Minecraft Forge website, you'll be seeing several options, make sure that you have 1.7.10 selected in the Minecraft Versions box. Then, download the recommended Installer of Minecraft Forge. Note: You'll be taken to another page, probably seeing an ad, in the top-right corner of your browser you should see a Skip button, hit Skip and the installer file should download.

2. After you have downloaded Forge, you'll be needing Pixelmon 3.5.1. Going to the Pixelmon websites Download page, you'll need to select the Pixelmon version of 3.5.1 for 1.7.10 Minecraft. I usually pick the second download portal, but either one should work. Note: You will be sent to a page and have to wait a few seconds before you can hit the Skip button in the top right-hand corner of your browser. You'll then be taken to another page and waiting about 8 seconds before your finally able to download the Pixelmon mod.

3. Now that we have both Forge and Pixelmon, make sure that you have loaded Minecraft version 1.7.10 at least once, otherwise installing Forge will not work. Open the Forge installer file we downloaded and select "OK" if you haven't chosen a custom directory location for your Minecraft game files, if you changed the default location, edit the instal path accordingly, otherwise Forge will not be pleased.

4. After you have installed Forge, completely close your Minecraft launcher if it is still oepn, reopen it and elect New Profile. Now, we must make sure we are using the Forge build, go down to Use Version and select the dropdown, you'll see loads of different versions of Minecraft, what we want will be named "release 1.7.10-Forge" with various numbers following. Select the Forge build desired and then click the Save Profile button, and load Minecraft to make sure that Forge is working correctly. This is a very important step!

5. Now, if Forge is working correctly, your game should load all the same with no crashes or bland screens. The next step is to find the Mods folder. To easily do this, select Options in Minecraft, then select ResourcePacks which will open the packs GUI in Minecraft, here you will see an option named "Open resource pack folder", this is the button you want to press. Now, this will open your file viewing whatever it is. For Windows, you should see a URL type of thing at the top of this new window, you need to go one step back from the folder your in, so click on the ".minecraft" folder and you should be seeing loads of files, one of them being a folder named "mods". You will need to dput the Pixelmon mod into this mods folder, you can do this by directly downloading it to this folder, dragging and dropping the mod into it or copying and pasting it into the folder.

6. The mod will not instantly work, so if your Minecraft game is currently open, you need to close the game and relaunch it. This will load the Pixelmon 3.5.1 mod we placed into the Mods folder. The process of loading will take a while since Pixelmon is a fairly large mod with a large amount of things to be loaded into the game. If the mod is not loading, the game should crash, if this happens please contact us! If your game loads, you should see that you have 4 mods loaded, you can check the Mods option inside Minecraft to check the current mods, Pixelmon 3.5.1 should be in this list if the mod is loaded.

If you have any problems or questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

The new server should be up between the time this announcement is posted and 24 hours from now!
